Small Farming Health Initiatives
Agricultural producers play an integral role in our health outcomes. We develop relationships with small farm producers focused on increasing awareness of food as functional health intervention. Driving food as medicine research contributes not only to the NCCIH Strategic plan (NCCIH Strategic Plan FY 2021–2025 | NCCIH (nih.gov) but brings awareness to the struggles of our disadvantaged communities.
